MEET THE TRAINER

Ben McGillivray not only talks the talk, he has walked the walk. At the age of 18, Ben's weight peaked at 125kg. Through lifestyle changes and learning about nutrition, he managed to lose 55kg, the majority lost over the span of two years. To maintain the weightloss, Ben joined a gym and found his love for exercise, especially weightlifting. He has been exercising consistently ever since.

 

Ben is well qualified with a Bachelor in Sport & Recreation through the Auckland University of Technology (AUT) plus a Certificate in Sports Training & Development through the Southern Institute of Technology (SIT).

He is a REPS registered exercise professional, which is an assurance to clients that his qualifications meet industry standards, he is CPR and first aid certified, and also undergoes ongoing professional development to stay up to date with the latest
fitness industry developments.

 

HOW IT WORKS

BAMFIT is a private gym located in Welcome Bay, Tauranga.

Focusing on one on one, pairs, group personal training sessions and group fitness classes. If your goal is to lose body fat, tone up, build muscle and strength or just stay active, BAMFIT can help!

All products and services are customised to you and your goals. 
They can range from beginner to advanced, and can accommodate all ages.
